2025 Spring CAPEROOS REGISTRATION

The Cape Express Soccer Club (CESC) Caperoos Program is our grass root level soccer program for players who are 4, 5, 6 or 7 years old and have an interest in learning the game of soccer. Players will train one night a week, for seven weeks, with CESC Trainers who will provide them training on throw-ins, dribbling, passing, ball touches, finishing, and defensive procedures all based upon an approved U.S. Soccer curriculum. Starting in the Fall 2020, CESC introduced games on Saturdays where players are afforded an opportunity to apply the skills they are taught and learn during the week. These games are supervised and run by CESC trainers and personnel. To promote participation and learning, and in accordance with US Soccer guidance, we do not keep scores and standings.
The Caperoos program is very popular and fills up quickly. Training sessions are held on Monday and Wednesday evenings. There will be a cap of 50 players per night on Monday and Wednesday. In addition to a CESC CaperoosTrainer, one to two parent volunteers are needed to assist the trainer with the training session and to help coach the games. Each trainer and parent volunteer will have to complete a verified background check to participate. For the Spring 2025season, we are accepting the following birth years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Each player will need to bring his/her own size (4) soccer ball, shin guards (these are mandatory), soccer cleats (highly recommended), and a labeled water bottle to each session and game. Program registration is $85.00 which includes all training and games fees. Additionally, each player will be provided a “Caperoos” T-Shirt that the player must wear to training and games. The Caperoos Program is run by our CESC Caperoos Director, Ms. Brooke Zukawski and Cape Express Curriculum Director Cristian Valencia.
